A simple bowl of pears becomes a subject of depth, texture, and light. The composition reflects a timeless still-life tradition, where ordinary forms are transformed into visual poetry. 🖌️ Artistic Process The journey began with a loose sketch to establish composition and balance. With acrylics, layering was approached strategically — starting with thin underpainting and gradually building opacity and highlights. Fast-drying acrylic allowed controlled detailing, especially in defining form, edges, and reflections. Biosphere Reserves are ecologically important regions recognized by UNESCO as living laboratories where nature and people coexist in balance. These areas promote:

There are currently over 700 biosphere reserves in 130+ countries, each representing hope for a greener, more resilient planet.

This year’s theme reflects the urgent need to heal ecosystems, respect indigenous knowledge, and build communities that live in sync with the Earth.

From mangroves to mountain ranges, from deserts to dense forests—biosphere reserves are nature’s masterpieces of balance.

As an artist, I see biosphere reserves as giant murals painted by nature, where every species is a brushstroke and every ecosystem a color palette.

Each reserve teaches us how to observe without exploitation, to live without erasure, and to create without destruction.
