To become an IPS (Indian Police Service) officer, you must first pass the Civil Services Examination (CSE) conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in India. Here are the steps to become an IPS officer: 1.       Eligibility: You must be a citizen of India and have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university or institution. Age: The candidate must be between 21-32 years of age as of 1st August of the exam year.
